Workshop Description:
Lacey is bringing her most popular workshop and newest DVD topic, Tribal Stylizations to Portland! It is Lacey’s belief that Improv Tribal Style movements don’t have to be just for Improv dancers. In this workshop, students will explore Tribal Style movements, combinations and techniques that can be perfectly suited for solo, group choreography, or group improv. This workshop will begin with drilling foundational movements including Lacey’s favorite: the Arm Drill. Moving into combinations and group work inspired by Fat Chance Bellydance, Gypsy Caravan, and Florida Tribal Dance to get you thinking outside the box!
Students with some bellydance experience is preferred.
